This policy explains what CookMyPrompt (operated by Hand Coded Web LLC) does with your information. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and the free builder doesn't send your text anywhere.
The free builder runs entirely in your browser. The text you type isn't sent to our servers or stored by us when you use the builder.
When you use "Add a pinch more," the prompt is sent to our server and on to our AI provider (Anthropic, maker of Claude) to generate an improved version. We don't store the prompt text or the result after returning it to you.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. To deliver your credits, we store an access code, your remaining credit balance, and the Stripe checkout reference for your purchase. If you opt to receive your code by email, we process your email address to send it.
We save your access code in your browser's local storage so your credits persist between visits. You can clear it anytime via your browser settings.
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that is cookieless and collects only aggregate, anonymous usage stats (like page views). It does not track you across sites or store personal data.
We rely on a few service providers to run CookMyPrompt: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Netlify (hosting and credit storage), Plausible (analytics), and Zoho (email). We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
You can ask us to delete the record tied to your access code by emailing support@cookmyprompt.com. The Service isn't directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Questions: support@cookmyprompt.com.
